OR maybe we're just goofy like that.
But in any case, after a year and a half of this cell phone picture game, some of the poses have gotten a little silly and/or creative. It keeps it interesting.
Here's his, all rugged and masculine, and yet deep in thought like a TV detective on a mission to solve this nagging case...
And mine, on my way to or from Dallas. Don't laugh.
Unless you want to laugh at my roots which are badly in need of re-blonding.
Since we often end up taking two cars a lot of places we go, we divide into teams and "race" there.
Keeping it legal and safe, of course...
Anyway, the "winners" (aka, my car) inevitably arrive so fast that they (we) *fall asleep* waiting for the slow car... so here's Annie sacked out on the bench at Casa Ole because we got from church to the restaurant so much faster than they did that we had time to catch some Z's while we waited.
It REALLY drives the point home of how SLOOOOOOW the other 'team' is...
After six years of sharing a bedroom, Katie decided she needed her own room this week. Since we have four bedrooms, enough for everyone to have their own, we obliged her.
Annie had a hard time adjusting... for about five minutes. This is her on night #1, sleeping in her own room... by herself. I think she'll survive it...
And Katie, safe from the monsters under her bed. They can't touch you if no skin is showing...

Ahhh...their own rooms. My sister made me sleep with her until I was 13. And I'm pretty sure she had almost moved out of my parent's house already. I think she still sleeps with a nightlight on. :) Congrats to Katie on her new room. :)
:) When I was a kid my sisters and I were always sleeping in each others' rooms! And even now as a grown-up I get spooked sleeping by myself... thank goodness hubby is always home! I think I dragged my heels giving Katie her own room because *I'm scared of the dark!
