I told you about how we made up stories about the guy painted on the back wall, and named him Eduardo.
And then I told you about how we painted canvases inspired by Eduardo, because... why? Um, I guess I don't have a good answer for that one... But we had a blast, and I'm quite pleased with how our art turned out!
This is Michael's. Eduardo is singing the Gay Caballero song. You know... AYE YI YI YI... So guess what tune gets stuck in my head every morning at breakfast?
This is Annie's. No, Eduardo's hand isn't where you think it is, regardless of the big grin on the chicken's face OR the grin on Eduardo's (I love the chicken's teeth). And don't ask Annie if Eduardo has a chicken puppet, either. EDUARDO has his ARM around the CHICKEN, OK?! You just can't see that detail in the picture.
Those pollos are 600 pesos... we just get our 6's backwards sometimes.
This is Katie's. Eduardo is dancing at Rosa's Dance Hall and shaking his maracas.
And this is mine. The background was supposed to look like a Mexican blanket.... use your imagination, OK?
And all of our happy, bright paintings together, hanging in our breakfast room.
When we can't eat at Casa Ole, Casa Ole comes to us!
