Baby Susie Joy is growing by leaps and bounds!
Well, sort of….
At her nine month check-up, she weighed in at a whopping 13 pounds, 8 ounces. That’s below the second percentile, FYI. She’s in the fifteenth percentile for weight, and fiftieth for head size.
So she’s built like a lollipop, in other words.
If you’re friends with me on Facebook, you’ve seen enough of my pictures to know that Susie has a perma-grin on her face.
She’s a happy girl… always.
But usually just when I put her on her tummy. The girl is determined to be carried everywhere and never learn to crawl, and with two big sisters who won’t put her down, odds are good that she might make that happen.
Though she refuses to crawl the old-fashioned way, you know, on hands and knees, she’s mastered scooting on her back.
She’s eating lots of food. I pretty much feed her what we’re eating, and here, it was her first taste of watermelon. She’s got a mouth full and juice dribbling down her chin. YUM!
One of her first trips to the pool…
OH, and she’s got wheels now. Thanks, Angela, for this walker… she LOVES racing around the house in this. And is obsessed with our kitchen trash can, for which she got reprimanded and redirected in the picture below. Hurt her feelings bad that I wouldn’t let her get into the trash. I know, mean mom…
Another pool outing…
Annie is concerned that Susie will only say DADA, and here she is trying to teach Susie how to say Mama. Sweet, loyal Annie… but to no avail. Susie is Dada’s girl.
My three adorable ones…
And Susie’s first July 4th.
Too much fun. 🙂
