So my favorite Grillmaster, ever the innovator when it comes to cooking with bacon, had the BRILLIANT idea to stir some chopped, cooked bacon into ground beef for Bacon Burgers.
And since my friend Jen called me The Duchess of Photographic Bacon Promotion, I did NOT want to let her down.
I love bacon. I love burgers. The combination is MORE than enough to die for, and I think you know me well enough by now that it should go without saying that 1) the bacon must be Wrights, and 2) when he cooks with bacon I beg him to marry me.
This time he amped up the flavor by using… PEPPER BACON. Oh yes, baby…
Cooked on the oven OR the grill, your choice — NEVER in the microwave (for shame) — and chopped coarsely.
Boy Toy I mean, the Grillmaster likes Grill Mates Brown Sugar Bourbon stirred in, too. And what the Grillmaster dictates, one should always obey. *When it comes to grilling, that is. Let me just clarify lest he read this and get too excited…
Form the ground beef, bacon, bourbon marinade mixture into patties….
And throw these bad boys on the grill. Go ahead. Make your neighbors jealous. Make your girlfriend beg you to marry her.
Delicious. Decadent. Succulent. I love that word, succulent.
And marriage-proposal worthy. Obedience not included.
