Big-Time Fun in Dallas.

Melissa Beene Ford/ Annie+ Family Fun+ Katie

We spent this past weekend in Dallas, and had the BIGGEST. BEST. TIME. EVER.

Of course we did! Our weekend was jam-packed full of all the things we love most…

Oreos.

Gi-normous fish at Bass Pro Shops.

Breakable dogs. If you know KB, you get it. She’s drawn like a moth to a flame.

Trying new, adventurous things.

Fashions at Justice. She’s drawn like a moth to a flame.

Waiting for mom while she shops. And waiting some more. Possibly more fun for me than for them… but, hey, they had a Motherhood Maternity outlet!

Big, nasty snakes. Possibly more fun for The Man than for the rest of us. YUCK.

Death-defying thrill rides.

And not-so-death-defying thrill rides.

Even waiting in line is fun when you’re with the right people.

Try as I might, I couldn’t catch them both making the Annie Face at the same time…

Yes, he’s always like this. Every day is Buddy the Elf‘s first day in New York City.

Flying through the air with the greatest of ease…

Gorgeous girl. Gorgeous freckles.

Cruising at the speed of light in the antique cars.

Buddy, Junior. It was her first day in New York City, too.

Did I mention waiting in line was fun? It is when you have thumb wars…

Crashing into your sister’s car.

He even makes this look good…

Annie face.

Taking a break for some deep-fried processed meat products with a side of trans fats.

Driving without a license… always a thrill.

You know it’s been a great day when at the end of it, you’re too tired to walk.

Ice cream.

Choosing our next ride.

So. much. fun… I can’t wait to do it again.

HAHAHA!  I have an almost 13 yr. old who has a thing for those breakable dogs, too.  I was laughing out loud at that one.

🙂 I thought it was just MY kid! From the time she was tiny she has LOVED dog figurines and wanted them…. she put that on her Christmas list when she was about two: "ten breakable dogs." We've called them that ever since.

Yes she did! And the one beside it is hanging by a thread, but she refuses to let us pull it….  I keep feeding her apples and corn on the cob, and no luck yet! Loose teeth give me the heebie-jeebies. 🙂
