Whew…..we’re tired! We’ve spent the past two days digging and pruning and setting out plants, in preparation for the Azalea Trail starting this weekend!! Well, actually, I have to admit I’m not nearly as tired as BF and his friend Paul; I had childcare duty today, which makes landscaping on a semi-busy street semi-IMPOSSIBLE….so I had to leave most of the work to them today. Its going to require at least one more full day of back-breaking labor, BUT, already, even with the plants just sitting there, it looks 5,000% better than it did! We’ve gone from ‘The Munsters Mansion’ look to a presentable yard that we’re going to be SOOO proud of. 🙂 More pictures of the finished project to come……and of course I’ll have to dig out some ‘before’ pictures of the yard so you can compare!!
The man who made it all possible, Paul Lowe, owner of Lowe Landscaping, Sulphur Springs, Texas. 🙂 We were really impressed with his design, knowledge, and ideas, and he has quite an impressive little portfolio of his completed projects ~ if you ever need a landscaping guy!
Planning their Strategy…
“Get a picture of me holding this axe.” Ladies, he’s still single…
Wow…a flowerbed!! Where previously only weeds had been.
Already looking far, far better than before…
Isn’t it amazing the difference a little fresh mulch makes!
Making sure its all perfect…
