I don’t know how I stumbled upon this great blog, but I laughed out loud at most of it. If, like me, you grew up at church, going on the choir tour where the bus broke down, singing a heartfelt ‘Friends are Friends Forever,’ while swaying back and forth, hugging your male friends from the side, disguising a big ‘ole gossip fest as a ‘prayer request,’ etc., etc.,….you’ll completely ‘get’ this. 🙂
A couple of my favorite quotes…
If you liked the free car, you’ll love not burning in hell in a fiery lake of sulfur for eternity.
I know you’ve probably heard this a million times before from other Christian writers, but next time you transition between two parts of your day, think to yourself, “Did I just go booty, God, booty?”
Then there was THIS whole issue. (Read the comments on this one. Too funny). Any fellow ETBU-ers who remember Life Action Ministries will appreciate this one!
This one cracked me up too, because you KNEW at every youth trip, camp, retreat, whatever, SOMEBODY was going to the Emergency Room. And that quote at the end…oh my gosh. “Sean, language please.” It just reminded me of one time at Christian Aerobics at the Family Life Center where somebody stumbled and broke their arm, and while the bone was literally sticking OUT, she laid on the floor screaming profanity. At church!! It really wasn’t funny at the time, but ok, 15 years later, I’m cracking up.
OK, you just have to read it. 😉
