Our lives are not wildly exciting these days, and I wouldn’t trade the lack of drama for anything. Stability, peace, routine, order and harmony = my words for 2012.
Every day new memories are made just being a family, and these are the happiest moments we’ve ever spent.
Like the other night, the girls and I went to watch my hot boyfriend play sand volleyball at Sonic…
… and we got in some great playground time.
And I even let the girls stay up LATE…. which is a rare thing in our world. Children need to be on schedules, I say, and sleep is of utmost importance for all factors of child development…. so rare is the night lights aren’t out promptly at 8pm. It’s one reason my girls are happy, healthy, and well-adjusted.
Some of us buried ourselves in the sand… and others of us put aside our germ phobia and just let them dig down in it where all the unwashed masses {and their feet} have been….
We went home sweaty and sandy and almost too tired to take a bath.
You can keep your wild excitement. It’s moments like these that I just love being us and hanging out at places like Sonic.
I like your happy days even though your are a teeny-tiny bit delusional.
Ha! I disagree with you Sarah K. 🙂 Great company at Sonic is better than horrid company at the Ritz Carlton any day. 🙂 Believe me, I've experienced both, and I love my life now more than ever!
