Annie in Wednesday night choir at church. They use sparkly gold pom-poms while they sing THE B-I-B-L-E, YES THAT’S THE BOOK FOR ME… and it looks like serious fun.
I love old downtown squares in little towns, and I love remnants of a decades-old sign painted on the bricks. The Jack Odle Barber Shop in Gilmer specialized in flat tops way back in the day — says so right on the sign — and I thought that was just too cute not to take a picture.
Some fun with my Instagram app.
More Instagram… this reminds me of my childhood, when going to feed the cows was great fun. The only pictures of we have of the farm from my childhood days look exactly like this one…
And still more Instagram! This one’s my favorite. LOVE this retro sign.
Annie’s most recent masterpiece from Jan’s Art Academy. I’m spending a fortune on frames these days, but I LOVE decorating with my kids’ art!
I got my Social Work license with my new last name on it this week and hung it on my office wall. I love getting things with my new last name…
Free sofa outside the Family Cleaners in Gladewater that just so happens to match some chairs I used to have…(I didn’t get the sofa…FYI… though I was tempted).
And then I lose this sweet puppy-loving kid on another aisle….
Sigh. There is ALWAYS a party where I work, with a big ‘ole cake. That explains SO much.
