Signs of Trouble in Our Future.

Melissa Beene Ford/ Uncategorized

Yesterday morning I sent Annie upstairs to get dressed.

This is what she picked out to wear.
Should I worry, that with all the cutesy pink & smocked & appliqued little-girl stuff in her closet….this is what she picked?

A black rock star shirt with torn sleeves?

Black fur-trimmed biker boots? With shorts???

Not to mention the tattoos. Uh oh.

Oh my. Oh no.

She’s even got the angry rock star sneer.

And a touch of rock star attitude. Guess what? I’m still a rock star. I’ve got my rock moves. And I don’t need you…

The shirt, I have to confess, is my fault because I did buy it for her, after all. I can’t help it; I’m a child of the 80s. This shirt just spoke to me.

I just didn’t realize she’d be wearing it with the boots and the tattoos.

I think we’re in trouble.

Hopefully I can straighten her out before she’s a teenager.

Pray for us.

Trouble??? Who, me?

That is HILARIOUS! (As a fellow child of the 80s, I love the shirt, too!) That is a lot of tattoos! WOW! 🙂

Hey Mel….I got the shirt at Wiggles & Giggles…the little childrens' clothing store where I work sometimes! They get in some crazy random stuff from the Dallas market ~ all samples. I'll look at the tag and let you know what the brand is!

That is too, too awesome. AB CD!! I nearly fell out of my chair laughing. I hope she IS all kinds of trouble for you when she's a teenager! That would be some kind of blessing for her to keep that strong girl attitude.

Of course, you'll have to keep from just eating her up and squeezing her to pieces because she's so blamed cute NOW.
