So we’ve been working on this house for over three months now, and the one room that is ALMOST done is Susie Joy’s nursery. That’s because she sleeps more than the rest of us, and one day I’ll tell you all about my baby-sleeping technique, but that’s the subject of another blog post.
Her walls, ceiling, closet, and chandelier have all been painted, sort of a lime-avocado color (a lot less yellow than it appears in this picture). She has new carpet. And three of the four walls are decorated.
This wall is my favorite; I LOVE this quote, totally inspired by my friend Jen, because it fits my tiny little Susie Joy PERFECTLY.
She IS little; 5th percentile for weight; 25th for height. The smallest of my three girls by a long shot. (The other two range from 95th percentile to off the chart for height).
And she is fierce; she came into this world making her voice heard, and she hasn’t stopped since. Thankfully it’s mostly happy sounds coming from this little firecracker, but she’s noisy. Big time. And she’s a go-getter. My first baby to sit up, first to try to crawl.
Yep. She’s little and fierce, and her room is looking FaBuLouS.
I can’t wait to show you the rest.
