Let me just start out by saying that I NEVER wanted this blog to be a drama-filled soap opera. And for that matter, I never wanted my life to be a soap opera.
I hate soap operas.
Even WORSE than soap operas, I hate reality TV. I hate kissing shows and fake shows about fake love and ridiculous drama and fake, fake, fake.
I hate The Bachelor, The Bachelorette, and Lifetime Movies for Women and ALL that garbage. There may be something wrong with me, but I’d rather watch Guy Fieri on Food Network (LOVE) or some
sexy manly carpenter build something on HGTV, or heck, I’d even rather watch The Disney Channel than all that drama.
My apologies to those of you whom I’ve offended by disrespecting The Bachelor.
But I’ve started something, and I intend to finish it. And when I say ‘I’ve started something,’ what I really mean is that this dadgum LIfetime Reality Soap Opera for Women was inflicted upon me by no choice of my own.
For those of you just tuning in, I found myself being harassed by a certain someone who took it upon themselves to leave nasty little comments on my blog. Dozens upon dozens of them. Oh, I was fairly certain I knew who it was, mind you, given the past history of hateful words texted to me at various hours in the middle of the night.
And I really don’t want to dwell in the nastiness, but for one final moment, for purposes of closure, I’m going to address this, and then forever delete her nasty hateful words from my life forever, and return to my previously scheduled programming of children, bacon, and Jesus.
Well, most of the time. 😉
To find the IP address from an email, look at your email inbox, and right-click on the email you want to identify. A box will pop up; scroll down to View Full Header. Click that. A box of jibberish will pop up; the IP address is in there. But the trouble is, its hard to spot, so (right click) Select All that nonsense, and (right click) Copy, then Go Here, scroll down to the box at the bottom of the page, and (right click) Paste in the box. It will tell you the IP address. Write that number down.
This is the section of the email from my stalker where I found her IP address:
And yes, I blacked out all the identifying info. I know who she is, my friends know who she is, and most importantly, SHE and GOD know who she is, and that’s alls who needs to know. But if you’ll notice, her IP address starts with 66, which just so happen to be the first two digits in Satan’s IP address, too! Small world.
My next step was to install Sitemeter on my blog. And you’ll want to get the subscription one, and not the free one, because (and I could be mistaken on this), the subscription one will tell you more details about who is visiting and when.
