Where Are the Real Men?

Melissa Beene Ford/ Uncategorized

“The greatest problem in America is the feminization of the American male.”

I don’t remember where I first heard that quote, or who said it, but I like it.

There just aren’t many REAL MEN out there anymore. Its tragic, but it’s true.

Men who will do the difficult job of protecting and providing for the ones they value the most… Where are THOSE men??

Men like my brother in law who clocks out from his full-time job to go mow yards in his “free” time. Because his family needs him, and he steps up to the plate and provides. His family lacks for nothing.

That’s a REAL MAN.

Men like my friend’s husband, who loaded up his three friends to go put a stop to the creep who was bullying his wife. His wife needed him, and he stepped up and acted like a man and put the loser in his place. My friend felt loved, safe, and secure.

That’s a REAL MAN.

Real men don’t bury their heads in their pornography addiction while their family falls apart. Because real men don’t give to dogs what is sacred.

Real men don’t toss you to the pigs while they sit back and watch you get trampled under their hooves.

Men who can be depended upon to provide and to PROTECT. Men with a spine and strength of character.

Where are THOSE men?!

Wait for it, girl. You're worth it, even if it takes longer to find. Glamour shots? That's just wrong on so many levels.

    Melissa…..
I could've written this myself two years ago. My road to finding true love and Real Man has been very long and very broken. I used to envy my Friends that found their real man and have been married ten plus years. And here I was a divorced single mom who kept looking for my real man. But after I quit looking there he was. Looking back I see that God's timing is always

You need to listen to the words of that song " God blessed the broken road that led me straight to you"….
You are the one who taught me about fasting and praying. Prayer changes things. ASK, SEEk, and KNOCK and just when you aren't expecting it, God will bring you someone in His time. God still moves in ways we don't see and divine appointments are real……pray for this

Jenn said, " he should have the cojones to put a stop to it."

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Seriously. You've had ENOUGH drama in your life. As if he doesn't already know this!!!!!!!!!!! That should be your 1st and final clue… he's not good enough for you. Any man who has to be told and/or asked to protect???????? I agree w/ your post.
